Where are we now?
India is an old civilisation but a new country. In 1950 we established the Republic of India with several ‘ideals’ outlined in the Constitution. Unfortunately, we are nowhere near where we intended to be and have not transformed into a Nation. We floundered, despite having everything at our command.
Today we are in the lower half of every index globally, from population density to per capita income to the cleanliness of the environment, to name just three. The whole of Europe, which was in a much more unsatisfactory state than us after World War 2, is now leagues ahead. There was no reason for it to have been the way we are now, but it is; the question is, how do we take it to where it should be.
Being a vast country both in landmass and population, the only method to manage it is to decentralise execution based on a standard paradigm. Also, the people have to be responsible for what they do, and the government has to be accountable for their duties. Accountability and responsibility are the keys. The rest follows.
The past is lost; the future is ours; let us design it.
Aim of this Website
This website intends to look at where things have gone wrong and offer solutions for action at a conceptual level. The details must be worked on by the governing administration.
Further, at the right time, we shall create a system of our own to influence change where required.
How it will be done!
Ideas, courses of action, references to articles on matters of concern and interest published at other fora, letters and documents sent to the State machinery and other agencies on relevant issues will be published or reproduced here.
Comments, views, and suggestions on each of these and fresh ones are welcome. Once approved, they will appear on the website. We may send your ideas to various Governments or other agencies for consideration and action.
